The official website of CASS Forum was successfully launched

On the morning of June 6, 2010, the Press Conference for CASS Forum as well as the opening ceremony of CASS Forum website was held in the lecture hall of CASS. Li Yang, the vice director of CASS, attended the meeting.
   

CASS Forum was established by CASS since the year 2010. It encircled with the theme of China’s economical and social development, and major global issues to make high-level discussion. The forum participants are mainly famous scholars home and abroad, think bank and experts from international organizations, representatives of government and business. The forum also invites some individuals who are in political circles, academic circles and economic circles to give speeches. 
   

The forum is of the purpose to become a high-level platform for the communication of social sciences and humanities, to further increase the world’s understands to China, and to absorb the excellent civilization achievements in various countries. 
   

The forum is composed of an annual conference and a series of thematic seminars. The seminars include social sciences and the main domains of humanities. In 2010, under the framework of CASS Forum, 18 international seminars are planed to be held.
