Green Book of Beijing’s Tourism (No.1) was Released

BEIJING, 23rd October, 2012 – Book launch for Annual Report on Beijing's Tourism Development was held at East Furong Hall, New Otani Chang Fu Gong Hotel on 23rd October, 2012. Zhou Jiucai, deputy director of Policies and Law Division, China National Tourism Administration, Lu Yong, director of Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development and chief editor of Green Book of Beijing Tourism (No.1), and Xie Shouguang, president of Social Sciences Academic Press attended the event.

An Jinming, president of Beijing Tourism Society (BTS), deputy director of Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development presided the book launch. Liu Deqian, executive editor of Green Book of Beijing Tourism (No.1), gave an overview of the book.

Annual Report on Beijing's Tourism Development (2012), edited by BTS, is the first publication in the "Green Book of Beijing's Tourism" series. It is a collection of some of the main findings of tourism research conducted by BTS-affiliated research centers and stations during 2012. With the publication of this book, BTS hopes to promote tourism research in Beijing by featuring the city itself as the primary research site, and to provide a useful reference for those working to advance tourism industry both in Beijing and in the country as a whole.

The book launch was jointly hosted by the Social Sciences Academic Press, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development, and the Beijing Tourism Society.
