Release of the Blue Book of China's Economy in 2014

The "China's Economy: Analysis and Forecast" conference and book launch for Blue Book of China's Economy in 2014 were held in the first lecture hall of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Beijing on 10th December 2013.

Xie Shouguang, president of the Social Sciences Academic Press, which publishes the "Blue Book" series, presided over the event. Li Xuesong, the report's associate editor and deputy director of the Institute of Quantitative and Technical Economics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), gave an overview of the report. He noted that there will be much uncertainty in the global economic situation in 2014.
Participants of the event discussed the development trends for China's economy, including possible problems the country will face. Key economic indicators for the 2013-2014 periods were presented.

The event was jointly hosted by the Economics Division and the Institute of Quantitative and Technical Economics, both of CASS, and the Social Sciences Academic Press.
