An annual report on social mentality status 2014-15 that was released by Social Sciences Academic Press and Beijing Social Mentality Research Center on Saturday revealed that 92 percent of people in Beijing are happy with their family relationships, the Beijing News reported.
Only 2.2 percent of people surveyed reported bad relationships in their family between the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, and 1.4 percent of people surveyed reported poor relationships in their family between their parents or with their spouse. Of those surveyed, 1.1 percent said their overall family life is unhappy.
The research focused on people ages 18 to 70 years old who are living in Beijing.
