As global warming, environmental pollution and resource depletion become increasingly serious, a proper understanding of the relationship between   sustainable development and ecological civilization construction is also becoming more urgently needed than ever.  The objective of this study is to arrive at a theory of how to build cities that are good for both the environment and people. Specific topics include evaluation index systems, production methods, lifestyle, consumption patterns and policies.
