In the past decades of China's reform and opening up, there have been many obvious changes in social differences. Urban-rural differences, industrial differences, and differences between enterprises of different ownership still exist, and new situations have emerged. The study of occupational differences and occupational stratification is an important way to study social structure and social stratification. This book attempts to summarize the characteristics of current professional stratification in China through the measurement of professional social status, and then infer the characteristics of current Chinese social stratification. This book not only focuses on the analysis of the theoretical context, but also fully considers China's national conditions and institutional factors, and strives to provide policy references for China's social management.
