About the author(s):

Description:

Taking the textile industry of Chao town as an example, this book analyzes the special industrialization process of Chao town and the practice of the new-type industrial-agricultural-urban-rural relationship. The industrialization of Chao town is inseparable from a "bottom-up" development momentum derived from rural society. Driven by this momentum, China's rural industry has undergone continuous evolution, showing strong resilience and vitality in different regions. The book also absorbs three typical cases that echo the Chao Town, that is, the processing of imported materials in L City, Zhejiang Province, the rural industrial system in Shijiazhuang city, and the featured agriculture in Jinzhai County, Anhui Province. Based on the investigation of the four regions, this book believes that the rural industry of urban-rural integration is the result of rooting in a specific social foundation. In addition to providing specific production factors for rural industries, the specific relationship and communication mentality in rural society is often also the key to the industrial development of rural communities.
