Family education is a hot topic in the current society, and education investment is one of the main concerns of every family. With the ever-increasing competition in parenting, family education investment seems to be becoming a "race" without an end. Families in different social positions use economic, cultural, and social capital to compete for resources and opportunities for their children in the educational field. The "gap" of educational investment between different families has been widening, and the resulting educational inequality and social inequality have also increased. This book adopts the perspective of education process and uses nationally representative survey data to try to reveal the full picture and influence chain of current family education investment.
