About the author(s):

Description:

China's low birth rate has aroused widespread concern in the whole society and has a profound impact on population development. Based on census and sample survey data, this book uses mathematical demography, statistics and other methods to systematically and deeply study China's fertility level, fertility pattern, changes in the number of births, and the impact of low fertility levels. A series of models and methods have been applied and developed. Through systematic and in-depth quantitative analysis, some important results and conclusions about China's fertility level and related issues have been obtained, which can provide reference and basis for understanding the changes and trends of China's fertility level and improving the fertility policy.
