Description:

Marx's concept of "society" is the foundation for interpreting Marx's thought, and is a holistic provision that encompasses human practical activities and individual and social values, the ultimate goal of which is to achieve the free and comprehensive development of human beings. In the current process of China's social transformation and development, it is necessary for China to reconsider Marx's view of "society", to deeply grasp the essence of Marx's view of "society", and to use it as a guide to summarize the positive and negative experiences of social development in the light of the actual problems and tasks China faces, so as to bring into play the advantages of later development. In this book, we study the social development of China from different perspectives. This book examines the essence and connotation of Marx's concept of "society" from different dimensions, and examines contemporary Chinese social construction accordingly, providing important theoretical references for the modernisation of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
