This book examines the participation of SMEs in social pension insurance from a social policy perspective, and initially constructs an analytical framework of the factors influencing participation behaviour. The book is divided into four parts. In the first part, it discusses the influencing mechanisms of SMEs' social pension insurance participation based on the perspective of stakeholders' social responsibility. In the second part, it analyses the differences in SMEs' pension insurance participation and its causes through a comprehensive analysis of data and cases. In the third part, it analyses the influence of each of the three major stakeholders. In the end, it summarizes the combined influence of the three major stakeholders and proposing countermeasures for adaptive social pension insurance reform. This book attempts to dispel the prejudice that SMEs are generally unable to participate in insurance due to poor business efficiency, and provides an objective analysis of the participation behaviour of SMEs from empirical data and cases, which can serve as a reference for theoretical researchers and practitioners.
