This book takes the "social structure" as the starting point to sort out the overall changes of Chinese society since China's reform and opening up. The book is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is a literature review of social structure theory. On the basis of summarizing and introducing the existing social structure theory, it clarifies the reason and value of using this analysis tool at present; The second chapter is a comprehensive scan of China's social changes from ten different dimensions of the social structure, hoping to fully show that China has achieved great changes in social morphology in just a few decades; The third chapter is about the eight mechanisms that we found to affect China's social transformation, and the exploration of the variables behind the social transformation; The fourth chapter is the research and judgment of the trend of China's future social structure changes and suggestions for promoting the optimization of relevant policies.
