About the author(s):

Description:

This book focuses on the volunteering practice of the youth volunteering organisation "Fruit" for migrant children over the past ten years, and presents a sociological and anthropological reflection and action research on the relevant aspects and extensions of volunteering. From focusing on the "action" itself to thinking about the "action process" involving multiple subjects, the author proposes a possible and feasible model of "action ethnography" based on the description, summary and analysis of the team's volunteering process, research experience and action results. On the basis of describing, summarising and analysing the process of team volunteering, research experiences and action results, the author proposes a possible and feasible model of "action ethnography": continuous field is the foundation, intervention and cooperation is the path, generated wholeness is the mechanism, and multi-point action output is the result. The book is divided into seven chapters, which are independent chapters with their own problematic awareness and theoretical lineage, but also complement each other, based on the same long period of field practice, and together form a holistic picture of action.
