Description:

Among the many factors that influence migration, the role of housing and land is irreplaceable. Housing is both a place to live and a space to which one's home and soul belong. Land is the carrier of housing, and housing issues are closely linked to land issues. The mobility of population migration and the real estate properties of housing and land form a stark contrast between movement and immobility. In the process of China's urbanisation, a large number of people migrate from the countryside to the cities and towns, and the coupling relationship between housing, land and population migration undergoes a drastic change in the process of urbanisation. This book summarises the relationship between housing, land and migration in a more comprehensive and systematic way, analysing the relationship between various factors such as housing price, housing property rights, housing security, land rights and interests, and population migration, and examining the relationship in multiple spatial dimensions from inflow towns, hometowns, and even non-inflow towns. It not only enriches the research results in related fields, but also provides certain research support for the formulation of related policies.
