This book focuses on the phenomenon of exile in the south-western region of the Tang Dynasty. On the basis of combing the geography and traffic of the south-western region in the Tang Dynasty, the book examines the poets' travelling experiences and poetic creation, analyses the reasons for the formation of the phenomenon of exile in the Tang Dynasty, the survival of the exiles, and the dissemination of their poetry, and thus explores the far-reaching influence of the literature of exile on traditional Chinese culture.
