The “One Belt, One Road”initiative is premised on pragmatic cooperation among concerned countries. The book offers a systematic account of the relationship between this initiative and China-ASEAN cooperation. The author explores the principles, framework, priorities and mechanisms related to the Belt and Road Initiative, looks at ways to build a China-ASEAN community, and offers suggestions for the construction of a 21st Century Maritime Silk Road and promoting maritime cooperation.
