About the author(s):

Description:

This book combs the perceptions of the Korean government, academia, media, and the public on China's neighboring diplomacy, and describes the outline of China's neighboring diplomacy from the perspective of South Korea. By examining the cognition of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, and the South China Sea disputes in the above four circles, we will interpret how South Korea views China's cooperation and disputes in its surrounding areas. After summarizing the characteristics of South Korea’s cognition of China’s neighboring diplomacy, it uses the relevant theories of international political psychology to analyze the reasons for the formation of South Korea’s cognition. On this basis, it analyzes and studies the enlightenment of South Korea's cognition of China's neighboring diplomacy, and proposes corresponding policy recommendations for the direction of China's neighboring diplomacy in the future.
