This report summarizes the results of FTI 2015 and reflects the transparency levels of China’s over 3000 charity foundations. This report has seven sections. Chapter 1 introduces the general background of foundation transparency in China and explains the second generation of FTI. Chapter 2 summarizes the general trends from FTI 2013 to FTI 2015, and introduces the basic facts of FTI 2015. Chapter 3 compares over 3000 foundations included in FTI 2015 in different dimensions. Chapter 4 compares the transparency performance of Top 100 foundations in FTI 2015 in terms of assets, revenues, expenditure, etc. Chapter 5 explains the development of second generation of FTI, which emphasizes dynamic information disclosure of major charity projects. Chapter 6 addresses the practices of Shanghai municipal government, Yongyuan Foundation and Amway Foundation in improving transparency and accountability. The appendix of this book includes relevant government regulations, methodology of FTI 2015 and a complete list of FTI 2015.
