The book was organized and compiled by the Russian Institute of Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Russian Research Center. The authors are all professional scientific researchers who have been engaged in Russian issues for a long time. The whole book is divided into six parts: general report, sub report, politics, economy, diplomacy and Sino-Russian relations, with a total of 23 articles. It comprehensively discusses the all-round development situation, major events, new changes and characteristics of Russia in 2021 and the severe challenges it faces.
