In 2022, government-industry-university-research-user focused on the process of cultural digitization and cultural intelligentization continuously. 2022 is known as the “first year of AIGC”, and the new cultural technology format of generative AI represented by ChatGPT has promoted the iterative upgrading of the production mode of cultural content. Under the leadership of artificial intelligence, the deep integration of culture and technology has gradually transformed from “digitalization” to “digital intelligentization” which combines “digitalization” and “intelligentization”. Relying on the progress of digital technology and the embedded application of artificial intelligence, new cultural technology formats such as online audiovisual, digital publishing, game and e-sports, metaverse, virtual digital human, generative AI, high-end cultural equipment and intelligent cultural consumption terminals have made new progress in high-quality development. In 2022, the deep integration of culture and technology presents four new characteristics: ecological digitalization, application intelligentization, subject interaction, and scenario-based experience. In the critical period of great changes unseen in a century, the deep integration of culture and technology should be closely integrated with the goal of Chinese-style cultural modernization, help the revitalization of rural culture and the construction of urban civilization, and promote the construction of a socialist cultural power.
