Amazing China—The Most Attractive Chinese Cities in the Eyes of Foreign Experts” is an annual survey and evaluation conducted by the Foreign Talent Research Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, which is an important channel for foreign talents to understand China and express their opinions on China, and a crucial grasp to improve their work. This report is based on the organization and final evaluation results of 2021 “Amazing China—The Most Attractive Chinese Cities in the Eyes of Foreign Experts”, introducing the index system and main measurement methods used in the activity, summarizing the characteristics of the attractiveness of Chinese cities for foreign experts, analyzing the performance of each city in five dimensions and the reasons behind, and focusing on the 1-10 most attractive cities and the 11-20 most promising cities to give a comprehensive analysis of foreign talents' concerns and provide a reference for Chinese cities to attract foreign talents. According to the evaluation, Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Nanjing and other cities in Yangtze River Delta, as this paperll as Shenzhen, Guangzhou and other cities in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, are the most attractive Chinese cities in the eyes of foreign talents, which are highly compatible with the strategic deployment of building China into a world center of professional talent and innovation. The economic development level of cities, talent introduction policies and supporting service measures are the two main factors affecting the evaluation of foreign talents, while foreign talents also pay more attention to government services, public services, living and social services, work and entrepreneurship environment, city construction, etc., and put forward more expectations and suggestions for improvement.
