The development of urban rail transit in China maintained rapid growth in 2022， and the length of new operational lines was 819.0 km. The total scale of operational lines was 9554.6 km， and the total number of stations was 5597.The passenger boarding was 19.31 billion， and passenger journey was 11.69 billion， which was significantly affected by the COVID-19. The industrial management system has been continuously improved， and significant achievements have been made in enterprise management and technological innovation. The report reviewed the development of urban rail transit operation in 2022， and the indicators of passenger boarding， passenger journey， passenger intensity， transfer coefficient and train service reliability were analyzed. The policies and related technical standards were summarized， and the innovation of enterprise organization and operation maintenance were discussed. Finally， the future development hotspots of urban rail transit operation management was put forward.
