Description:
The Blue Book of Japan: Annual Report on Research of Japan （2014）is jointly published by Chinese Association for Japanese Studies, the Institute of Japanese Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Social Sciences Academic Press. It is a yearly academic achievement by the research staff of the Institute of Japanese Studies, as well as some other Chinese and Japanese researchers in related fields of Japanese studies.
The book, consisting of the parts of the general report, political and security reports, foreign relations reports, economic and social reports and the appendix, focuses on issues such as Japan's “normalization” under Abe administration and Sino-Japanese relations in the context of the dispute over Diaoyu Islands, provides a overall review and analysis of Japan's politics, security, foreign relations, economy and society in 2013, and a forecast of their trends in 2014. The book also includes Japan's major events in 2013.
