Based on the evaluation system of the China’s cultural consumption demand, the book presents an overview of the supply and demand of the cultural industry among major cities and provinces in mainland China. Contributors examine the potentials of cultural demands in rural and urban areas in 2013, and suggest that demand in China for cultural products and services falls far short of what it can and should be, and that the industry is still very much under-developed.
