In 2014, the mobile Internet industry constantly integrates and develops in depth and width with slow recovery of global economy，and keeps rapid growth. In particular，the deepening of integration and application of mobile Internet with big data，cloud computing and social networking constantly promotes revolution of traditional industries and appearance of emerging industries. Digital economy driven by this is becoming an important engine fueling a new round of economic growth in major countries and regions around the world.
The Annual Report on Mobile Internet Development (2014-2015) is one of the Blue Book of Industry and Informatization series. It covers the in-depth study and analysis of the above-mentioned characteristics. The report, based on solid and reliable data and facts, adopts perspectives and methods of social science research, and stresses theoretical，empirical and practical properties. It can be taken as an important reference for comprehensive understanding of global mobile Internet industry and scientific decision making by relevant authorities，industry associations and enterprises
The report includes five parts. The first part is General Reports，this part summarizes the state and overall characteristics of global mobile Internet industry in 2014. The second part is Industrial Reports，this part describes the development pattern of relevant equipment and applications in the mobile Internet industry from mobile chips，mobile intelligent terminals，mobile operating systems and mobile applications. The third part is Special Reports，this part expatiates on new changes to the ecological system of mobile Internet, which has been a hot topic, and the situation that mobile Internet becomes a key focus of concern in the investment and financing industry this year. The fourth part is Reports on hot Issues, this part analyzes new technologies，modes and business forms emerging around mobile Internet，such as mobile social networking，wearable devices，intelligent voice，mobile gaming and online to offline (O2O)，and selects ten hot issues of the year on this basis. The fifth part is Reports on Enterprises，this part selects 12 enterprises influential in all links of the mobile Internet industry chain, and describes and evaluates them from perspectives including operation situation，strategic adjustment and major events in the year.
