Abstract

The Annual Report on Catering Industry Development of China was created in 2006.Over the past ten years,we have focused on the theoretical frontier,have paid more attention to the hotspots of the industry and have pursued the practical value. Now, it is characterized by stable framework,innovative contents year after year and constant improvement in quality.

The Annual Report on Catering Industry Development of China (2015) consists of six parts: general report,industrial development,special research,regional situation,international development and appendix.

The “General Report”,from the major issues affecting the development of catering industry,analyzes and responds to the main problems needed to be resolved inpriority for the development of the catering industry of China.The “Industrial Development”,from the perspective of economic new normal,analyzes the overall operation of the catering market in 2014 and forecasts the development trend of the catering market in 2015.Besides,it provides a detailed analysis of the new trend of the development of the catering market of China,based on the relationship between the catering industry and the capital market in China.The “Case Study” not only focuses on the basic issues in respect of the development of catering including Shaanxi Cuisine and Henan Cuisine but also goes deeply into the fractioned and relevant industries including wine,coffee and grain supply and demand; moreover,in order to keep pace with times,this chapter discusses such new subjects and studies with regard to crow funding,Internet,etc.The “Regional Situation”,focusing on Henan,Tianjin,Anhui and Sichuan,has discussed the characteristics of the development of the local catering market,from the macro and micro perspective and in consideration of both the overall situation and the local features,in order to thoroughly master the overall trend of the development of the catering industry of China.The “International Development”,from an overall point of view,introduces the development situation and existing problems of the catering industry abroad,and brings forward some countermeasures and suggestions.In addition,by seizing the key strategy of the common promotion of the development of Chinese cuisine by Taiwan and the Mainland,this chapter analyzes the development status quo of Chinese cuisine in Taiwan; and on basis of the characteristics of the overseas market,this chapter presents professional analyses and suggestions.

Furthermore,in the Appendix,this report sets forth the policies,laws,regulations or normative documents of the relevant government departments including the General Office of the State Council and Ministry of Commerce for the reference of readers.
