“Report on Development of China’s Audio Media(2020)” was jointly edited by CC Data Media Research Co,Ltd. and the School of Journalism and Communication of Jinan University. This report condensed the wisdom of professionals in Chinese broadcasting and audio media industry,journalism and communication media and related media data research companies. From the perspective of the development of current situation of Chinese audio media under the mobile internet communication environment,inspecting the symbiotic relationship between traditional broadcasting and mobile audio,to provide systematic exploration and thinking for the media convergence development of broadcast media and the “going my own way” in the integration and innovation of audio media.
This report covers the basic ecology of Chinese audio media development:traditional broadcasting,mobile radio,mobile music,audio reading and live audio. Through detailed data and actual cases,the scene development and innovation of audio media are described in a full scene,and an objective review and systematic summary of the integration and upgrade of traditional broadcasting are carried out. By 2019,Chinese audio media ecology had been further regulated,where the broadcast media produced in full form and distributed via full platform through the social platform,third-party audio and video platforms and short video platforms to settle in and build audio and video platforms,from “addition” of multiple media to “convergence” of integrate development. The digital and communication,big data technology empowerment in the process of deep media convergence enables the content production and innovation capabilities of broadcast media to be released on the most active internet production and communication lines. The broadcast media ecosystem is forming an audio ecosystem with a traditional communication model plus mobile Internet communication model. Audio listeners’ media contact habits and listening behaviors have relatively typical internet attributes and characteristics. It not only changed the content transmission path of broadcast media,but also enriched the content production mode and information dissemination mode of broadcasting as a kind of audio media. It also profoundly affected the convergence development strategy of broadcast media,playing an important role in the convergence process. Broadcast media at all levels across China have transformed their business ideas and strategies,actively explored event marketing,media communication,MCN fields and the extension of diverse industries,forming a new direction and new impetus for the future development of broadcast media.
