Annual Report on Development of Robot Industry in China （2020-2021） is a research report on the development of China’s robot industry in 2019 and 2020，and is the second blue book in the series. This book is jointly established by HRG International Institute （Hefei） of Research and Innovation and China Institute of Science and Technology Evaluation，and is jointly completed with the support of industry experts.

There are three chapters in Annual Report on Development of Robot Industry in China （2020-2021），including a general report，four topical reports and five special reports.

The general report points out that China’s robot-related application fields continue to expand，and the process of industrialization of scientific and technological research results is accelerating，but problems such as imperfect professional talent training mechanisms restrict the further improvement of the overall development level of the industry，and the joint efforts of relevant industry entities are urgently needed. At the same time，market opportunities such as the potential track of service robots and online talent education models have become the focus of the robot industry.

The topical reports analyze the four aspects of China’s industrial robots，service robots，core components of the robot industry and robot industry system integration，and propose that the technological level of China’s industrial robots has improved，and non-standard software and hardware products have become the focus of manufacturers’attention；service robots are penetrating multiple downstream application fields，and the industrial scale is showing a continuous growth trend；the technical barriers of core components in the robot industry need to be broken，and companies focus on the product development of new application scenarios；the robot industry system integration market is relatively fragmented，and the increasing demand for flexible production of smart factories drives the rapid development of market scale.
