Under the guidance of national policies，China’s medical device industry has maintained a healthy and rapid development in recent years. In 2020，faced with the unexpected COVID-19，the medical device industry provided a large number of protective devices，such as diagnostic reagents，respirators，protective clothing and protective masks，which played an irreplaceable role. Based on the current situation and challenges of China’s medical device industry in 2020，this report discusses the four dimensions of policy，industry development，regional situation and market practice with detailed information，data and charts，and reveals the problems existing in the policy，industry and market of the medical device industry，and puts forward the future development direction of the medical device industry. In particular，the performance，achievements and challenges faced by COVID-19 in the field of medical devices are discussed.
