China’s county medical community construction is an important starting point and measure to improve China’s hierarchical medical system and medical service system under the background that the reform of the medical service system has entered the deep water zone and the hierarchical medical system construction has entered the critical period of perfection and implementation. The county medical community construction based on the strategic requirements of ＜Healthy China Strategy＞ and ＜Rural Revitalization Strategy＞，following the development concept of “people’s health as the center”，and summarized the practical experience and lessons of nearly 10 years since the launch of the “new medical reform”. After the direction and idea of county medical community construction was established，the CPC Central Committee and the State Council paid much attention to it. After the pilot and expanded pilot in the early stage，China’s county medical community construction has now entered the required stage of large-scale pilot and full coverage construction at the county level.
