China’s unique geographical location, complex topography, diverse climate types and rich biodiversity have laid a solid resource foundation for the development of ecotourism. In the national ecotourism development plan (2016-2025),combined with the characteristics of local ecotourism resources, the national ecotourism development is divided into eight areas. Under the guidance of the new concept of building “Green China” and “beautiful China”,building a scientific and reasonable ecotourism development index system and comprehensively evaluating the development of areas is to promote the development of ecotourism industry Strong guarantee for policy formulation.
In the main report, based on the new development stage, new development concept, new development pattern and high-quality development, starting from the overall layout of “five in one”,the concept of ecotourism system is defined, and the reasons for the rise of ecotourism and the development process of ecotourism at home and abroad are summarized. At the same time, according to the latest statistical data, the development of “eight areas” of ecotourism is comprehensively evaluated. Through the construction of China’s ecotourism development index system, the national average index value is calculated to be 0.0723,including the ecotourism area in the eastern plains and hills, the ecotourism area in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River, the ecotourism area in the upper and middle reaches of the Yangtze River The eco-tourism area in the Pearl River Basin exceeds the national average;According to the ranking of all provinces (autonomous regions and cities),only Beijing,Shanghai,Chongqing,Tianjin and Jiangsu have ecotourism development higher than the overall average value of 0.1269. It is found that the difference of ecotourism development degree among regions tends to expand, and the regions with unique ecotourism resources have stronger development power. It is advocated to solve the prominent problems of large differences in regional ecotourism development and low stages of regional ecotourism development by improving laws and regulations, improving ecotourism development planning, developing the uniqueness of regional ecotourism culture and increasing publicity and education.
This book is divided into four parts. In the index part,it systematically analyzes the current situation of China’s ecotourism development from the perspective of big data, and makes an in-depth study on the inter city agglomeration benefits of China’s ecotourism resources, the agglomeration effect of ecotourism industry and the agglomeration effect of ecotourism communication. The calculation results show that the economically developed provinces (cities and autonomous regions) in the eastern region have a significant lead in the development of ecotourism. We should pay more attention to the balanced development of the eastern, central and western provinces (cities and autonomous regions) themselves and each other, give full play to the leading role of municipalities directly under the central government and some advanced provinces (cities and autonomous regions),and fully mobilize the available resources of ecotourism in the eastern, central and western regions The exploitable, sustainable and coordinated scientific development will further reduce the development gap between regions in ecotourism infrastructure and public service capacity.
In the regional part,by studying the development process of ecotourism in Yanqing, the Pearl River Basin, the Yangtze River Basin, the Qinghai Tibet Plateau and Shandong Province,it is concluded that the establishment of ecotourism compensation mechanism and coordination model, the construction of long-term talent training mechanism and the improvement of ecotourism public service system can effectively promote the upgrading of regional ecotourism industry and economic development.
In the special topic, the evaluation standard system and acceptance system of China’s ecotourism development planning are discussed, and the needs under the new pattern of China’s ecotourism development are discussed. The research shows that the “double system” should accurately grasp the balance between absolute quantity and relative quantity, maintain the dynamic and stability of the system, and should take tourist satisfaction as an important reference for the acceptance results;By summarizing the development process of ecotourism in Huangshan,Guilin and Mount Emei,it is found that having certain monopoly scenic spot resources can bring stable income growth, but some dispensable supporting facilities can not bring profit growth.
In the chapter of policy and supervision,it discriminates and summarizes the current situation, problems and Countermeasures of China’s ecotourism laws and regulations, the contradictions between domestic ecotourism supply and demand, development and protection, material and spirit, rights and responsibilities, and the “labor pains” in the promotion and application of the cooperation mode between tourism enterprises and social capital,It also gives policy suggestions on compiling ecotourism balance sheet, establishing ecotourism supervision and management mechanism, perfecting ecotourism legal system and strengthening the construction of credit level system.
In the case part, taking dajiuzhai ecotourism route in Western Sichuan as an example, based on the general situation of resources and industrial development, this paper explores its branding development process and analyzes its branding strategy. The success of dajiuzhai ecotourism line brand in Western Sichuan shows that relying on policies, clarifying the development direction of brand construction, resource integration, brand cluster development and strengthening the construction of supporting measures are effective ways to build ecotourism line brand.
In the reference part,it analyzes the successful ecotourism development models such as Yellowstone National Park in the United States,Japan’s “ecotourism+”,Thailand’s “seven green concepts” and international nature reserves, summarizes the models, practices and achievements, and gives ecotourism development suggestions from the aspects of industry supervision and planning, departmental cooperation, community participation, talent training and business model.
In general, the book summarizes the overall layout and key tasks of industrial planning, environmental protection and supporting system around the national ecotourism development plan (2016-2025),and implements a comprehensive evaluation. It provides a reference basis for experts, scholars, management departments, enterprises and institutions to study and formulate ecotourism development planning.
