This is the fifth Blue Book on industrialisation, which explains how to understand the connotation of China's industrialisation in the new development stage, and on the basis of this, re-examines the evaluation system of the industrialisation process constructed in the first Blue Book on industrialisation in the light of the "new four" criteria. In particular, it discusses the trend of de-industrialisation, the relationship between the real and virtual economy, consumerism, demographics, employment, industrial integration, manufacturing innovation, regional coordination, enterprise transformation and management change in the process of China's industrialisation in the new development stage, and provides direction for China's comprehensive industrialisation.
