Kangxi Dictionary (Hytung Unicode Database Revision) is revised by Harrison Hongyuan Wang (王宏源) with Unicode 5.0 standard characters, published by Social Sciences Academic Press (China), April 2008.
Kangxi Dictionary was compiled during 1710 to 1716, supervised by Kangxi Emperor, Qing dynasty. Until now, it is the most important Dictionary in China, and its influence is worldwide. This dictionary was revised firstly by Yinzhi Wang (王引之), financed by the Qing government during 1827 to 1831, 2588 errors were corrected. Mr. Harrison Wang has collected about 13800 pieces of collations for the Kangxi Dictionary from Yinzhi Wang, Li Wang (王力), a Chinese scholar, and Yutaka WATABE (渡部温), a Japanese ancient scholar. He also added about 30000 pieces of collations in the new revised version, with the strong support of his super Hytung Database. The elegantly bound dictionary are based on about 57557 different Unicode, 2058 pages totally, and printed beautifully at Beijing.
