To further promote disciplinization and internationalization of theories, methods and applied researches on social engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology, Xi'an, Jiaotong University in China and State University of Management, Moscow, jointly held the "2007 International Conference on Social Engineering and Management--the Second Symposium on Theories and Methods of Social Engineering in China" in Harbin, January 13-14, 2007. The core topic of this conference is "High Technology and Society: Issues on Social Engineering of Multi-behavior System".

More than 60 experts and scholars attended the conference, they came from Russia, USA, Canada, Korea, and Harbin, Xi'an, Shenyang, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Xiamen, Fuzhou, Qinhuangdao of China. This book was a selection from 97 articles totally submitted up.
