The data source of this volume is based on all the Chinese language non-Buddhist literature collection in British National Library. The volume records and explains the ancient manuscripts which are hundreds years ago into traditional Chinese, and corrects and collates the original text. Followed the explanation of each instrument there is calibration record and the literature index of the book over 90 years. The documents in this volume have significant importance to the study of ancient China’s politics, economy, military, religion, nationality, history, art, language, literature, music, dance, society, construction, technology and transport.
