“Democracy and good governance” is a wonderful prescription that western countries wrote to the developing countries. The author has made critical analysis about “democracy and good governance” in this book, and he put forwards three viewpoints: (1) Development status and future development of Asian and African countries lie on their history and geography, it has little relationship with the “development model ” and democracy of western countries.(2)Globalization referred to small part of the developing countries. The Third World’s poverty should not be entirely attributed to globalization. (3)Western countries have no rights to interfere and make improper evaluation to developing countries.
