The great masters of Chinese learning—Gu Jiegang have edited The Series of Fake-Distinguishing in the 1930s. In the 1950s, this series was renamed as The Series of Study on the Ancient Books. There are ten volumes in total, of which volume 1 was published in 1955 by Zhonghua book bureau. It has been over half a century since the first publishing of the book. Thus the book has been short of supplies for several years. The republishing of the book which   amended mainly by one of the Gu’s favorite student—Wang Xuhua, is now available for the readers.
