The book is a series of annual research report which is co-authored by Rural Development Institute of CASS and Rural Socio-economic Survey Department in National Bureau of Statistics of China. 17 annual reports (including this book) have been published since 1992. The content of the book consists of two parts: the chapter parts analyzes and evaluates the current situation of rural economy in China, forecasts the trend for the development of rural economy, and raises some corresponding proposals. The specialization part makes a multi-dimensional, in-depth and detailed analysis as to the theoretical and practical issues.
