Based on the practical inspection and theoretical thought, this volume put forward the basic concept and analysis train of thought in the relationship between the migrant peasants’ children and urban citizens. In the context of China’s urbanization process, this relationship can be analyzed through “social integration”, and also can be measured from two dimensions of social communication and social identity. The study found that, this kind of integration is not merely one-way and static, but a two-way dynamic process that influenced by multiple factors. All the factors within community, school and family of urban society could affect the process of social integration in different ways.
