China Nonprofit Review Vol.4 illuminates the theme of “industry association”. In recent years, there are many problems about the domestic food safety and corporate credit crisis (Such as the Sanlu milk powder incident). It reflected a kind shortage of public goods which should be provided by industry association. Anti-dumping, pricing negotiations, coordination of labor relations and investment, all of these reflect the value that industry association provides the public goods to the enterprise and industry. After the Wenchuan earthquake occurred, some industries showed the social responsibilities concentrated expressed in terms of donation and volunteer services.
