This book emphatically discusses Chinese and Japanese scholars’ “viewpoints on 1945”, and studies the actions of Japanese and of Chinese “studying Japanese” after war ended. We generally call the understanding of Japanese and Chinese to the history as “Toward a History in 1945” outlined in this work. China's researchers and Japan's researchers jointly start with this viewpoint which does not yet cause full attention until now to discuss the Sino-Japanese relations as well as the Japanese people and the Chinese people, which should be possible to open out some kind of brand-new prospect for the issues on history in Sino-Japanese relations.
