At present, the structure of China’s energy industry is still dominated by high-carbon energy. The irrational structure of the energy industry, the imbalance of supply and demand, the high degree of dependence on important energy sources, and low energy efficiency have brought many risks to China’s energy industry; internationalization and financialization are accompanied by violent fluctuations in international energy prices, and many contradictions have been superimposed, and hidden risks have increased. In addition, carbon emissions have caused problems such as the greenhouse effect and serious environmental pollution, which put China under increasing international pressure. In view of this, in the context of a low-carbon economy, this book incorporates environmental risks and low-carbon factors into China’s energy industry risk indicator system, uses quantitative methods to identify, measure, evaluate and warn, and gives suggestion for the healthy development of China’s energy industry.
