This book aims to provide a detailed introduction to the Global Trade Analysis Model (GTAP), which is currently widely used in the field of policy evaluation. The book is divided into two parts: the first part provides an introduction to the theory of the model, analysing the model in terms of its theoretical foundations, framing and main elements, as well as a detailed introduction to both static and dynamic models; the second part focuses on the application of the model, presenting a selection of classic examples of the author's use of the GTAP model.
