This book is divided into two parts: the first part and the second part. The first part takes clarity of property rights as a prerequisite for improving the institutional system of land use in mining areas, and uses evolutionary game analysis to propose an optimal allocation of land use in mining areas from the legal policy level. The next part focuses on how to solve the negative externalities of mining activities through land carrying capacity enhancement and land use/cover changes, improve land use patterns, promote the harmonious co-prosperity of mining and other industries, and promote high-quality regional development. Combining data simulation and field research, it analyses the construction of a green mine system, land reclamation and re-greening of mining areas, land use indicators involved in the transformation and development of mining economic zones, ways to evaluate the suitability of land use, decoupling economic growth from carbon emissions, and makes policy recommendations.
