Focusing on the management of foreign exchange reserves in the context of currency internationalisation, this book reviews the theory and practice of RMB internationalisation, and then analyses the current situation of China's foreign exchange reserve management in the context of RMB internationalisation. It then analyses the logic and characteristics of the management of the size and structure of foreign exchange reserves in the process of internationalisation of the world's major currencies from both theoretical and empirical perspectives, and obtains a general rule on the relationship between the process of currency internationalisation and foreign exchange reserve management. On the basis of the experience of foreign exchange reserve management in the process of currency internationalisation of mainstream countries, the principles and paths of foreign exchange reserve management in China in the process of RMB internationalisation are presented.
