This book introduces the ideas and methods of international trade implicit carbon emissions research into the study of implicit carbon emissions between regions (provinces) within a country, constructs a low-carbon production and distribution system for agricultural products as well as related mechanisms and systems to promote the reduction of agricultural production and distribution processes and agricultural carbon emissions; designs a compensation mechanism for agricultural carbon emission reduction between regions in China based on institutional, technological, cultural, public opinion and facility support elements. In this way, it provides support for the low-carbon, green and high-quality development of Chinese agriculture. The book extends the theory of ecological compensation and makes useful suggestions for the design of carbon emission reduction pathways and institutional construction.
