The development strategy of rural revitalisation proposed at the 19th Party Congress in 2017 will become the most important development strategy for China in the coming decades and is a matter of success or failure in the modernisation and development of the country. Agricultural modernization and rural modernization are the two key initiatives to achieve rural revitalization. While previous modernisation development strategies only mentioned agricultural modernisation, rural modernisation and agricultural modernisation have now started to be given equal importance. The reason behind this is that an effective connection, transformation and mutual support between the two has yet to be achieved, and this is the key challenge before the current development path of rural revitalisation, which needs to be urgently cracked.
