Prof Zhuo Yue, Ph.D in Economics, currently serves as VP at School of Public Affairs, Xiamen University; Vice-chairman, the Association for National Government Performance Management; advisor, Fujian provincial people’s government; Adjunct professor at School of Management, Lanzhou University; Participants at International academic conference in the United States, Austria, New Zealand, Nederland, Germany, Russia, South Korea, Singapore, and Philippines. Main research and teaching areas include: government performance management, standardization of public services, governance and innovation; Published over 40 monographs and co-edited works, e.g. Research on Government Cost Control (2001), Introduction to Government Performance Management (2007), Measuring Performance in Public and Nonprofit Organizations (2008); Published over 230 papers in CASS Journal of Political Science, Educational Research, and Chinese Public Administration. Presides over 20 projects of the National Social Science Fund of China, and National Natural Science Foundation of China.
The book scrolls down the development, and presents the current status of public services standardization. Problem-oriented, and on the premise of hypothesis, the book constructs an innovation, executable, sustainable model for regulating public services. Finally, combing overseas management experience with domestic related polices, the author provides the top-level design of the public services standardization from a strategic perspective.
