This book is based on the major premise of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Through the combing of research literature on Chinese trade unions since the reform and opening up, and the comparison of labor relations between China and the West, it discusses in detail the nature and role of Chinese trade unions, and on this basis, the system changes of China's trade unions since the reform and opening up are discussed in detail. The author believes that Western trade unions are established on the basis of the separation of state and social rights, and have a completely different institutional background from Chinese trade unions. Therefore, they have fundamental differences in attributes and completely different ways of handling labor relations.
